To coincide with the 50-day countdown to the FIFA World Cup 2026™, new ticket inventory was made available to the general public via FIFA.com/tickets from on Wednesday, 22 April, with tickets for all 104 matches set to go on sale. At the start of the sale, tickets were available across categories 1 to 3 and the front-row seat categories, depending on the match. In celebration of Earth Day, FIFA is highlighting a major sustainability initiative tied to the FIFA World Cup 2026™, including efforts already underway here in Houston. In partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, FIFA is supporting large-scale reforestation and community tree planting projects across all 16 Host Cities, with Houston among the cities that have already activated local efforts alongside Trees for Houston.
